Manabu Nitta
Manabu Nitta joined Nissho Electronics (now Sojitz Tech-Innovation) in 1998. Since then, he has taken on a wide range of roles in the network business domain—including business development, marketing, and product planning—for both service providers and enterprise customers.
From 2013, he spent three years stationed in Silicon Valley, where he led investments in partner companies, drove business expansion in the APAC market, and experienced a wide array of innovations firsthand. After returning to Japan, he introduced cutting-edge SaaS startup solutions such as New Relic and Zoom into the Japanese market—before the establishment of their local subsidiaries. Recognizing the growing complexity of IT environments in the multi-cloud era, he spearheaded the development of Sojitz Tech-Innovation’s original multi-cloud services and boldly took on the challenge of transforming the company’s business model.
Since 2022, Manabu has returned to Silicon Valley. Under his motto, “Make life more meaningful and fun through innovation!”, he continues to pursue not only leading-edge technologies but also the creation of new corporate value through open innovation and co-creation with customers.
